Sexy Lingerie….Definitely!!

Sexy Lingerie…. Definitely!!

Guys tend to like stockings and thigh highs on  women. Babydolls and 2 or 3 piece lingerie, fishnets. In addition, the burlesque look has made a strong comeback. Bustiers and corsets have become much more popular over the past few years.

Some guys go even as far as buying costumes to have their women dress up as police officers (complete with handcuffs), nurses (stethoscope included) and even the occasional cow-girl (with rope “lasso”). Lastly, favorite colors tend to be red, black, pink, white, and blue…in that particular order.

So just why is Sexy Lingerie so good for you,…even when single?!

Lingerie is never about him.  It’s always about you as a woman!

Wearing something sexy will make you feel sexy

Feeling sexy improves your confidence and improved confidence means better success in all aspects of your life.  I’ve read stories of boardroom executives who win the big contract after wearing a garter belt and stockings beneath their business suit, of new college graduates who get their dream jobs after buying a lacy bra and panty set, of single ladies who never stopped wearing their naughty lingerie and snagged a new guy quicker.

People know when you’re confident. Sexy lingerie (whatever sexy means to you) is an easy, inconspicuous way of adding confidence.

Gorgeous lingerie puts you back in touch with your sensuality

The sight, the touch, the scent… they’re all reminders that you are a sensual being with erotic potential even if that potential isn’t currently in use.  That means almost all the sexy lingerie I buy and review has never been seen by another person.  It’s so easy to lapse into feeling asexual when you’re not in a relationship.  Sexy lingerie is a way of keeping those embers warm.

Because you just never know

It may sound like a cliche, but it’s true.  Today might be the day….. for the love of your life, or for a pleasant flirtation . A time when you have to have your best undies on.!

Whatever you’re wearing underneath should be at least as nice as what you’re wearing on top.  Oh, and remember what your Momma said about always wearing nice underwear in case you have go in the ambulance?  Yeah….that’s a good reason too.

Lastly, to quote the legendary Dita von Teese, “Lingerie is not about seducing men, it’s about embracing womanhood.”

So ladies, splurge on yourself for best results.

Men vs Women

Men vs Women Fashion

men fashion compared to women fashion

Women often keep up with fashion a lot more than men. They will buy  fashion magazines to browse through the latest season of clothing, looking at the latest trends and what will flatter their figure as well as keep an eye on the runways so they can be the first to wear the latest styles.. However, many men don’t take the same approach and simply wear what they are comfortable in – buying any style of clothing and sticking with it. Why are there differences between men and women’s attitudes to fashion; and does the male gender really care whether women wear the latest styles?

The emphasis on women’s beauty has increased a lot over the years or so – and women keeping up with fashion have changed with the times. In a media-ridden, photo-manipulating world, women are expected to look their best (and men’s expectations seemingly moving with this too) – getting the new style of dress that hugs the waist or drapes over the shoulders is the way of beauty for women. The fashion industry is also a lot more focused on women – many magazines offer fashion tips and guides, or tips on where to buy the latest maxi dress; whereas men’s magazines do not put as much emphasis on this type of article. You will also find a lot of shops selling women wares compared to men.

Even from the 1930s, it was noted that gaining the latest fashions was at attempt to “be modern and outdo other women”. Wearing the latest dress or newest style of swimwear could boost a woman’s self-esteem, and give an edge over potential rivals. Men obviously show their rivalry in other ways that aren’t through fashion – which could potentially explain the reason why men are so interested in gaining muscle and fitness, as opposed to keeping an eye on the new summer eveningwear ranges on the runways, and in the shops and wholesalers.
